Tai Chi-Sau is a new exercise based activity for seniors (over 50s) derived from Chinese Gongfu, which promotes health, balance, coordination and relaxation. The system involves practising controlled body movements, stepping sequences and paired partner exercises. Tai Chi-Sau is different to Tai Chi Chuan in that the movements cover a smaller area so it’s easy to follow the instructor and attendees often work together as partners, involving a greater degree of communication and social interaction. Anyone can join in at any time and attendees are encouraged to practise at their own level and pace.
Sessions are friendly and informal and newcomers are welcome to come along for a free taster session!
